I am emailing you to let you know what a wonderful & blissful experience I had at Kai today!
You actually booked my appointment for me for a 12 noon head and scalp massage after giving me information on Latisse over the phone.
First, I love your reception area, bright, welcoming, comfortable and unassuming. I was greeted in a manner where I truly felt welcome.
(I’ve only been to Spa Sydell – and never felt welcome there or that my business was appreciated).
Not the case at Kai!
I really appreciated that there are forms to fill out for medical history AND that the massage therapist truly paid attention and read mine. I was greeted by Sandra for my head and scalp massage and she was kind enough to spend 5-10 minutes discussing some medical problems that I have had for the past 3 months – I am SO impressed with how in tune she was and that she really wanted me to get the most of out my time at Kai today.
We decided on a 30 minute massage instead of head and scalp only.
Grace, it was the BEST massage I have ever received in my life!! I love the massage room – so clean and tranquil, warm and soothing. My joints and bones are very sensitive so you can imagine how delighted I was to slip into a heated massage bed with such soft and cozy blankets. I was in heaven!!
The massage itself was perfect – Sandra asked what kind of pressure and I requested light. It was just perfect. It did not hurt me at all but soothed my mind, body & spirit.
My only regret is that I did not discover you sooner!! Spa Sydell has been deleted from my cell phone!
I promptly made another appointment with Sandra for a 60 minute massage next Saturday. I can’t wait.
I also received information on Botox from the front desk staff and I will be taking advantage of the special pricing on May 4.
Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback; I am really impressed with all your staff and your beautiful spa! What a breath of fresh air compared to my other spa experiences in the Sandy Springs area.

Johns Creek – Karli Barnett of Johns Creek won the title of “America’s Teen” in Beauties of America’s National Pageant held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center on Aug. 15.
This prestigious pageant has young women from all over the country competing on many levels. Karli also won the Fitness Award and the Achievement Award, which honored her leadership and achievements in academics, as well as her service involvement in her community and the state.
Karli is a Senior at Mt. Pisgah Christian School, and is a member of the National High School Scholars, and a recipient of both the Georgia Merit Award and the U.S. National Leadership & Service Award. She feels very blessed to be an ambassador for young women and wants to encourage them to use their unique gifts and to pursue their goals. Karli would like to thank several companies in her town for their support, including: North Point Training, Kai Medical Salon, Pro Alterations, and Wolf Camera in Duluth.

Carol’s sister(Estelle Lee) and very close friends (Ju Ha, Jenny Lee, Karyn Pak) celebrated her upcoming wedding by having a private wedding shower at kai – the medical spa. They each received customized facials and massages, had the whole spa to themselves with their own party music, drank white wine and ate cheese, crackers and delicious red grapes. They wore a cozy bath robe and choice of slippers. It was a fun time by all! See comments below…

I was in the Johns Creek store on Thursday and as I was getting ready to leave the store , I saw a lady dancing at the check out counter. I approached her and introduced myself and told her that she looks like she is having fun.
I loved her response back to me, “I am in my happy place when I come here!”
I asked her if it was okay to quote her and put her on our website. She was more than happy to oblige. Here is a picture of Elizabeth in her happy state of mind…There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone so happy that it makes them dance! And if kai can be a part of that, then we are achieving our goal!

There are two things I absolutely love at kai. From a procedure point of view, the Fraxel has produced the most effective results I have seen. I have struggled with acne a large portion of my life, which had left some scarring behind. I am the lead medical esthetician at kai – the medical spa in Johns Creek. I have had problems with my left wrist for years. I’d had a previous injury to the area and have had issues since. In my profession, your hands are your livelihood and dealing with pain and swelling on a daily basis was getting to be a problem. I spoke to our acupuncturist, Mark Schwartz about my wrist and all the problems it had been giving me. He suggested I have a session with him to try to alleviate the pain and discomfort I was experiencing. I had an hour session, which he focused on my wrist and also some relaxation. I got off the table and literally felt like I was floating…I couldn’t even feel my wrist!!! Over the next few weeks, my wrist started to feel better and better, swelling was subsiding and the pain was virtually gone. I am now about 3 months post treatment and have absolutely no problems with my wrist…no pain…no swelling…amazing!!!

About 8 years ago, I developed a small dark spot on my cheek. After years of sun exposure, the spot became more prominent. As an Esthetician I have tried many different products and treatments. Since working at kai – the medical spa, I have finally found the right combination of services and products that have worked for me. With only 2 treatments of our intense pulsed light (IPL) and regular use of our Obagi skin care, the pigmented lesion has faded significantly. Now with continued treatment and regular use of my sunscreen, I am confident my skin will ”wedding ready” by March.

Wow, what a great day today was!
Today, I was invited to be on the radio. Yes, yours truly was on Atlanta Business Radio with a group of other smart, female business owners and we had a blast.
I don’t know about you, but every time I talk about the exciting things that are happening with my company I get pumped up all over again. Yes, the economy is not the greatest and yes, I am a female business owner and yes, there are all kinds of things happening in the world today that are not positive; but when you own your own business you must make everyday a positive day, even when some days are not. If there is one thing I have learned in building my business is that a positive attitude or a negative attitude do not necessarily determine business success; however, for me personally being positive is just a better lifestyle.
After all, who wants to do business with someone who is a “Debbie Downer”? I do not know about you, but I sure do not. Especially if I am going to a place to try to relax for a few hours! This is one of the reasons that kai the med spa has so many repeat clients. Sure, we carry phenomenal products and we offer even better services, but what truly sets kai apart is our desire to ensure that everyone of our clients has the best spa experience they have ever had.
As I said (and you can probably tell) I am very excited about being in the spa business and look forward to being in this business for many years to come.
